Yard Sale

So... we need to have a yard sale, but I'm not sure how to go about it, cause we/I have never done it before... Any advice? How much cash should you have before you start to give as change? We really need the money a yard sale could bring in... please help! Also, if you'd like to sell stuff too, let me know! We can have a joint sale! :)

Paintings for sale! Would make great Christmas gifts!

Hey everybody!

Just wanted to let everybody know of a great and different Christmas gift that you can give anyone on your list! I love painting... not really painting -things- so much as just painting something that looks pretty... playing with colors. I'll be putting a couple of examples of the style I use in an album in my pictures... It's hard to get a great picture, but I think you can get the basic gist of the style. If you'd like one, just leave a comment or send me an email about pricing, etc, tell me what colors you would like (I'll use any color Michael's has!), and we'll go from there! So please check em out and let me know what you think!

Thanks!
Katie

Forgotten CDs

After I got in bed last night, I realized I hadn't posted the CD list I mentioned, so I'm back today to add it on.
I'm also feeling more and more desparate for a job... if anybody knows of anything in the Hodgenville / ETown area, PLEASE let me know. I've put applications in at numerous places, but have gotten no calls. I know this is partly because I put on all of em that I won't work weekends, and I don't think that's something I should -have- to compromise on, because that's when I get to see Brandon. But I'll work some Saturdays if I need to. Please let me know if you hear of anything!
Anyway... here's the list :

Our first blog...

Hello!
I'm incredibly new at this, and though none of these posts will be profound or great, they'll keep you up to date on what's going on with us.
Right now there's a lot but not much going on at the same time. There's a lot of things coming up soon with holidays and such, but in the mean time there's nothing to really do before then. Brandon's just working at Phelps, and the work is steady, thank goodness. At RGIS, however, it's not... last week we had one store, this week we have one store. I'm going to try to sell some old CDs (I'll post the list on here at the end... I'll sell em to ya for $2 - $3 a piece), and may try to start selling some paintings, though I'm not really sure how best to go about it. I'm desperately in need of a new job, I don't think this one's going to suffice for all our bills much longer at all. It would help if our executives wouldn't try to screw us over so bad, but that's a whole 'nother story.
Hopefully (if I can find a new job) we'll be working on the house sometime in the near future. We're loving having a house that is actually OURS... the mortgage sucks, but at the end of the day, at least it's ours and we're not paying for something that we'll never own. We're starting to plan for our annual Christmas party for old friends, and that'll be fun as usual...
More to come later~
